Even in good times, managing a boat dealership has its challenges. You’re often trying to work on the business at the same time you’re working in it. That’s why we urge you to take advantage of the Kevin Lodder and Duane Spader Scholarships. Both of them offer training that puts the tools to become a better manager and leader in your hands – or the hands of your employees.

The Kevin Lodder Scholarship offers tuition to attend the Spader Total Management 1 Workshop in Sioux Falls, S.D., and a stipend of $800 to offset travel expenses. Spader’s Total Management 1 Workshop is designed to help you and the other decision-makers in your business find more time to focus where your business needs you most. You’ll leave with a clear set of principles, processes, and tools to take your company to new levels of performance and profitability. And to ease the wear and tear of management on you and your leadership team.

Recipients of the Duane Spader Leadership Development Scholarship receive tuition to attend the 18-month Spader Leadership Development Program in Sioux Falls, S.D. Whether you are a leader in your business looking to increase your performance or you’re being groomed for leadership, this program is designed to help you reach your goals. By the time you complete it, you will have developed the skills you need to thrive in today’s marine business environment and into the future.

The deadline for all scholarship applications is October 12.
